A bathroom is the most demanding room in the house to tile. Water, movement and tight tolerances all meet in the same small space, so the work has to be sequenced properly — demolition, substrate preparation, screeding and falls, waterproofing, then tiling.

We take on complete bathroom tiling as well as shower rebuilds and renovations, carrying the tiling scope through niches, detailed set-out, silicone and the final finish.

How we approach it

Demolition: Existing tiles and bathroom finishes within our tiling scope are removed so the substrate can be assessed properly before new work begins.
Substrate preparation: Cement sheet, surfaces, junctions and penetrations are prepared so the layers above start from a sound base.
Screeding & falls: Floors and shower bases are prepared to the required levels and falls before waterproofing and tiling.
Waterproofing: Wet-area waterproofing is completed to Australian Standard AS 3740 before the tiled finish is installed.
Tiling & detailing: Set-out, cuts, grout lines, niches and edges are resolved carefully so the room reads as one considered finish.
Final finish: Silicone, sealing and finishing details are completed as part of the tiling work, not treated as an afterthought.
